The Zakat Committee in the Wilayat of Liwa is one of the committees affiliated with the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs in the Sultanate of Oman. It was established by Ministerial Decision No. (419/2023), with the aim of managing, collecting, and distributing zakat according to the provisions of Islamic Sharia and the regulations and laws followed by the ministry. We work to promote social solidarity and support eligible groups in the wilayat through development projects and relief programs aimed at improving their quality of life.
