The Zakat Committee was established in the state of transfer on the initiative of civil and community cooperation, where it contributed actively to collecting zakat on its beneficiaries in the state. These volunteer efforts continued until 2017, when the committee was officially announced by a decision by the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, which gave it the legal framework and community confidence to continue its religious and developmental mission in a broader and organised manner.
